The Ugandan American Association Of Dallas – Fort worth was founded as a non-profit organization to unite all Ugandans residing in the state of Texas under one leadership for a common interest to foster growth and development.
The organization dedicated to bringing together all Ugandans living in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas of Texas. Through a variety of community initiatives, UAA-DFW aims to foster a sense of unity, support, and cultural pride among its members. Our initiatives include social events, cultural celebrations, educational programs, and support services designed to enhance the well-being and connectedness of our community.

As an organization, UAA-DFW fosters the socio-economic and educational development of its members by offering a platform that connects the Ugandan Diaspora in Dallas/Fort worth area and in the state of Texas. The organization provides various resources by enriching community members lives through: programs, services, and events that educate, entertain, foster business relationships and good citizenship. The UAA-DFW Social Community Programs are designed to foster a sense of unity, support, and engagement within our community. Our programs offer a wide range of activities and services aimed at enhancing social connections and improving the quality of life for all members. These include community gatherings, cultural events, educational workshops, volunteer opportunities, and support groups. By promoting inclusivity and active participation, we strive to create a vibrant, resilient, and connected community where everyone feels valued and empowered.
We offer a variety of activities, including mentorship, skill-building workshops, volunteer opportunities, and recreational events, all designed to help members realize their full potential and become responsible, engaged citizens.
OUR CONSTITUTIONCommunity members receive multi social services that includes but not limited to case management, immigration & naturalization service, applying for affordable housing and other benefits.
Health insurance education program is an outreach program that connects members with resources, advocates and provides community-wide health literacy education to all members of uaadfw.
Dedicated to empowering young individuals through comprehensive educational, social, and leadership initiatives. Our program aims to foster personal growth, academic excellence.
